Concert hall in Rome
An example of using ODEON to design the acoustics inside a concert hall, where a wind orchestra is about to perform. The project was carried out by Matteo Novembri, acoustic engineer in Advanced Technologies S.r.l., Rome, Italy. The high quality of ODEON simulations helped the consultant company to derive high level of acoustic designs with respect to the vision of the architects.
The task in this concert hall was to enhance the sound of a 100-member wind instrument orchestra. The constraints were to leave the wall architecture untouched, and use a material with a wood finish.
