About Odeon A/S

Odeon A/S develops and distributes the room acoustic simulation and measurement software – ODEON. The ODEON software is used world-wide for prediction of room acoustics and PA-systems in Concert and Opera halls, Theatres, Worship spaces, Sports stadiums, Open-plan offices, Foyers, Restaurants, Music studios, Underground and Railway stations, Airport terminals, Industrial environments, and Outdoor areas with complicated geometry.

Results come as acoustic parameters, sound mapping, binaural or surround sound auralisation allowing you to analyse results with your ears or present “soundscapes” of future rooms to customers.

The Odeon company was established in Denmark in 1990 after nearly six years of room acoustic software development at the Technical University of Denmark. You can read the full history of ODEON software here.

Odeon A/S is located at DTU Science Park, which is part of the campus of the Technical University of Denmark, 10 km North of Copenhagen.

We are an active part of DTU, Acoustic Technology.

The offices of Odeon A/S are close to the acoustic facilities of DTU, which include one of the world’s best anechoic rooms with a free volume of 1000 m³.
