2024

The Washington Post published the article “Why restaurants are so loud, and what science says we can do about it”. ODEON was consulted to provide simulations of restaurant acoustics, before and after applying absorption. June 2024

Gitte Dethlefsen published the article “Food for thought – about noisy restaurants”. ODEON was consulted for the writing of this article. May 2024

George Koutsouris ran the first ODEON webinar, for three sessions and 5 online participants. The course had a great success for educating remote users for using ODEON. January 2013

George Koutsouris joined the conference Reproduced Sound and ran an ODEON course. November 2012

Claus Lynge Christensen and George Koutsouris ran a two-day course at the Odeon A/S facilities – Scion DTU. Eleven participants from different countries were educated in advanced level for using the ODEON software and dealing with complicated acoustic problems. October 2012

Claus Lynge Christensen presented the paper Dynamic sound source for simulating the Lombard effect in room acoustic modeling software, by Jens Holger Rindel and Claus Lynge Christensen at Internoise, New York 2012. Claus also run an ODEON seminar with George Koutsouris. August 2012
