The Reflectrogram and 3D reflection paths tabs (available in Auditorium and Combined versions) display only the early part of the response for clarity, up to the transition order defined in the Room Setup. You may increase the transition order to see more ‘early’ reflections in these two tabs, but be aware this will also affect your calculation speed and final results.
Alternatively, you may refer to the Decay Curves tab, which covers the entire response and includes the simulated intensity at the receiver.
This is also visualized as a Hedgehog plot, providing insight into the spatio-temporal distribution of sound—similar to a reflectogram or 3D reflection paths. Each spike of the hedgehog corresponds to a local maximum of the intensity norm: its direction generally indicates the direction of propagation of energy. The intensity is not entirely the same as the reflectogram, but in cases where only 1 reflection reaches the receiver at a given time, the direction of the intensity vector should be the same as the direction of propagation of the reflection. Note that if two reflections arrive at the same time, the displayed direction is a combination of the two directions of propagation.
