A Bluetooth connection is recommended instead of a cable for most of the measurements, because it makes the process faster and easier, taking advantage of the portability of the device.
Through our own experience with measurements, we have observed that level fluctuations are slightly higher when using a Bluetooth connection compared to a cabled connection, though still within acceptable limits: the standard deviation (STD) across a set of in-situ correction measurements remains below 1 dB. Therefore, Bluetooth can also be safely used for calibrated measurements, although a cabled connection may provide slightly higher accuracy and consistency.
