Odeon Omni should perform well in medium-sized venues, such as auditoria, small concert halls, classrooms, offices, restaurants, etc. The Bluetooth connection works well up to 30 m distance (provided there are not too many obstacles between the PC and the source). Due to its compact size, the device’s sound power output is somewhat limited compared to much larger sources. However, in room acoustic measurements, what matters most is not the absolute size of the room, but the distance between the source and receiver positions. If this distance is not too great – so that the level does not drop significantly – the device can adequately cover most of the frequency range of interest.
